Until further notice.
This is a busy, fearful and unprecedented time of the year for all of us. We are in your corner, even still.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, our office has stopped seeing clients face to face, until further notice.
We will continue to accept client documents and prepare returns. Our office is set up to continue operations remotely if county officials declare a mandatory stay at home. Call the office at 936-273-1188 to discuss how to deliver your documents to us during this time.
Instead of face to face meetings, we are using Zoom which is an easy to use video conferencing that my technologically challenged clients are able to navigate.
We will use our portal, mail, phone, zoom, and email, when appropriate, to accept information and deliver returns.
You may have heard on March 17, 2020, the federal government has extended the time to pay our 2019 federal tax liabilities until July 15, 2020 for anyone owing under one million dollars. This includes estimated tax payments for 2020 federal tax liabilities as well.
On March 20, 2020, the Secretary of the Treasury announced they will extend the time to file to July 15, 2020.
If you have any questions, please call us at our office (936) 273-1188. Normally I have a real live person answering the phone, but if you leave a message someone will give you a call ASAP between the hours of 8 – 5 or by the following morning.
Remember to wash your hands frequently, eat well and get plenty of rest. Please adhere to requests by our government officials to limit contact and stay safe.
